It is estimated that twenty-five percent of the most acute workplace problems, absenteeism, increased insurance cost, high turnover, and reduced productivity, stem directly from domestic violence (Dougan, 2003) D’VA provides training to identify and assist employers in locating the resources available to aid employees in obtaining economic self sufficiency.

 

Workplace violence occurs on a continuum, ranging from death and homicide at one extreme, to assault, and to physical and verbal threats on the other extreme. (Wilkinson, 2001). D’VA provides training on different methods of safety in the workplace.
